Hiatus

hiatus

Though I never like to be away from this blog, my current treatments have proven to be more challenging than I anticipated. We also have some very important family matters with which to attend, so unfortunately I’ll be taking a hiatus for the foreseeable near future.

This community has become such a big and extremely meaningful part of my life, and I don’t even know how to express just how privileged I feel every time you visit or comment. You have afforded me immeasurable amounts of inspiration, friendship, healing, hope, and camaraderie. I definitely don’t want to be unreachable (plus I’d miss you way too much), so please feel free to contact me anytime at sase@themelodyinmalady.com. I will also be replying to any comments that you leave on this or any of my previous posts.

Since I’m not sure how long I’ll be out, I was actually thinking of giving very short thoughts on my The Melody in Malady Facebook page. If you’d be interested in connecting in this way, all you have to do is like my Facebook page and/or turn on notifications. You can manage your notifications by going to my page and clicking the “Liked” button (which will reveal the notifications menu) at the bottom of the cover photo.

So many of you have left such beautiful stories in the comments or via message. Just know that I am holding all of these very tightly in my heart, and I am always here if you want to send me updates or prayer requests.

Thank you again so much for your unending love, prayers, and support for my health challenges. This new phase, though difficult, is offering me tremendous hope for a much better quality of life. It’s a new diagnosis (that I didn’t know I had) and possibly a very promising protocol. You can be sure that I’ll be back as soon as I’m able.

God bless and keep you.. with so much love,
Sas

PS… Did you know that in phonology, the word “hiatus” refers to adjacent vowels belonging to separate syllables? Examples are words like cooperate, reality, naive, and HIATUS! Aren’t words awesome?! :)
